✨⭐️ MUSIC VIDEO PREMIERE ⭐️✨
The B-Side... #Prelude by The Weeping Willows: https://posttowire.com/2020/09/16/video-premiere-the-weeping-willows-prelude

"Melbourne folk, country, Americana (they can do anything!) duo The Weeping Willows recently released their brand new 7″ single 'Wheels Won’t Roll', which received a premiere over at The Bluegrass Situation. They’ve also created this beautiful clip for the instrumental b-side and new single ‘Prelude’, featuring stunning drone footage filmed in Ireland by Uwe Müller and edited by Lachlan Bryan.

It’s the space and atmosphere that I find so compelling in this piece. Those elements of backwoods folk and bluegrass, with almost a Celtic feel to it. It could be straight out of a scene from the TV series Deadwood as the stringed instruments conjure up an otherworldly tension, setting the scene for what’s to come.

Intriguingly, Laura Coates and Andrew Wrigglesworth explain that this track is “an evocative instrumental prologue to another forthcoming Weeping Willows tune: a tale of familial murder, retributive justice descending upon a guilty father from on high, and an orphaned daughter delivered over to a love too long denied her.”

The track was recorded over in LA, with Wrigglesworth on guitar, Luke Moller on fiddle, Kevin Breit on banjo and David Piltch on upright bass." - Post To Wire.

Available NOW on the 'Wheels Won’t Roll' 7” Vinyl
